Welcome to MadStone Mastiffs...established in 2005. We are a small breeder of the English Mastiff. We are located in the midwestern part of Illinois, in a small farming community of Knoxville. All of our dogs and puppies are indoor pets and do not live in a kennel environment. We breed for health, temperament and type. As we do not breed often but we do occasionally have puppies available to approved homes. Our dogs as well as puppies are socialized among people, children, other dogs and a house cat. As young puppies we start introducing them to the different household and outdoor sounds, car rides, vet visits and plenty of socializing. This is to better help them in their transition from our home to their new home.
The placement of our puppies is one of our most important goals as a breeder. We ask that you take the placement of our puppies as serious as we do. We also carry an open door policy with all our dogs, meaning if you know longer can or want to care for the Mastiff, anytime during its lifetime, we require you to bring them back to us.
All of our breedings are planned in advance and start off from a waiting list. This is to better ensure the proper home for our puppies. Our process is much like an adoption including a puppy application and contract.
Our breeding goal is to produce puppies from a solid foundation with dense bone and massive wrinkle. We do not fly our puppies for any reason at anytime for anyone, unless outside of the United States. We do allow ground shipping or we can meet within reason, with cost of gas.
All puppies come with a health guarantee, spay/neuter contract, AVID micro-chip, up-to-date on all puppy vaccines, de-wormed on a regular schedule, health checked by our veterinarian, puppy medical records, copies of both sire and dam's paperwork and an AKC registration application, after proof of spay/neuter has been sent to us, the Breeder. Our puppies are sold on a limited registration, meaning pet only. We would consider placing a puppy on full registration, to the right home.
